Referrals are welcome and answered in order of receipt. Current waitlist is around 8 weeks.
Who you’re referring to
Joanne Hatchard is an accredited social worker and family therapist working with neurodivergent people and their families — strengths-based, family-focused, grounded in lived experience.
Sessions run by Zoom Australia-wide, or in person — home and community visits up to 30 minutes from McLaren Vale. The work builds individualised, sustainable structure that fits the client and the family they live in.
Formal diagnosis isn’t required. Self-identified is valid.

- Master of Social Work, University of South Australia
- Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Edith Cowan University
- Accredited social worker — AASW member 438252
- Additional training: EFT, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Lego Therapy
Fees, upfront
Travel
Home and community visits up to 30 minutes from McLaren Vale — two-way travel cost, billed in 10-minute intervals.
Telehealth
Zoom, Australia-wide. No travel component.
Funding
Private, NDIS self-managed or plan-managed. Mental Health Care Plans aren’t accepted.
Waitlist
Approximately 8 weeks. Referrals answered in order of receipt.
